how long to wait

I was wondering how long you guys wait from the time you get eggs to the time you start to pair again

6 months as a minimum and the female must have put back all the weight back on plus some more.

I agree with the above.

Also, don't neglect your males. If a male had a busy season, lost weight, went off feed, etc, he needs to make his weight back and be feeding well before I will start him again.

I was lucky. My males mabey missed a couple meals but never went off. My females kaid in Aug last year and are back to their pre lay weight
