How much should one be expected to pay for a proven breeder female and a male that will be ready to breed next year? Thanks.

You're going to have to accept that sometimes on this forum our questions receive ridiculous answers once in a while. There's a lot of mischevious people here, lol. Relax - he was only joking. :gj:

As far as your question goes, that depends on the vendor, whether or not the snake is het for anything, and her quality. I would hazard a guess at around 400-600 for a nice normal female. But I haven't priced out BRBs in a while so that is, strictly speaking, a guess.... ;)

I'm not sure on prices, but have you looked at fauna or kingsnake to see if their are any on there yet?

Yeah, I checked kingsnake and fauna and I could only find young BRB. No proven breeder. The BRB I'm looking at are normals (orange). One is a proven female and the male should be ready to breed next year.

Are you sure? Pet stores usually sell BRB babies for around $200 - $250 and I would assume breeders sell babies for $150 - $225. I can't find any proven breeder BRB for sale to compare with.
