Greasy fur- Ick

So I noticed my two females' fur has been getting greasy over the past few days. I've read that it can be due to a fatty diet. I've been feeding a lab block (can't remember the name off the top of my head), a handful of petstore hamster/rat/mouse food once every few days, and fresh spinach daily. They'll also get random fruits and veggies throughout the week. One girl's about to pop, the other gave birth almost a week ago. The male's fur is perfectly fine. Could it be hormonal? Or maybe the girls just get to the fatty sunflower seeds before my boy has a chance too? Also, any ideas to remedy the situation? I know it's not that big of a deal, but I want pretty rats lol. Should I put on my big girl pants and attempt to bathe them? Any and all input is most appreciated :)

Is this the first time your females are giving birth? I personally noticed that my asfs look greasy when they start to get old and when their diet was too fatty like you mentioned. I used to throw in all kinds of fruits and veggies and they looked little greasy so i cut back to just lettuce and the lab block with the occasional snack and they look much better. Once they get past a year old though i noticed they can start to greasy or lose patches of hair. (old age i'm assuming). Sorry i'm can't help more but that's my thoughts for whatever they are worth.
