I also noticed that earlier the site would not come up. The time was just before noon.

That is unrelated but I ran into that too - about 2 and a half hours of no BP.net - and all the catching up I STILL have to do!!!

Yep, site was unreachable for about 4 hours here.

what happened....i was starting to get a little anxious...

The site was down last night from 11 PM my time, to 3 AM my time. Not sure why, but may want to contact the host. There seems to be alot of this lately.

By the way, Smulkin, that link points to something you were talking about wanting a while back, rather than a whimsical site as it would appear from the URL.
