face book for your pets

Just wanted to share a new site. It's like facebook but for your pets. From what I see you make a page as your pet. Idk not sold on it but wouldn't mind hearing what ya'll have to say about it. You can log in via your face book or can sign up as a stand alone. I don't have face book so I probably won't be using this site either. But an acquaintance of mine is heavily involved in its launching so any feed back I can give him from our community would be greatly appreciated.

don't have a Facebook either, so i won't be getting involved.. although i would think it would be funny to create one for your snake, and take pictures of dead mice captioned "mmm dinner :)" like people always do on Facebook of their meals. lol

Lol I thought about it. It would take all day to make an account for everyone in my collection. You don't have to have facebook to use the site.

I barely use the Facebook I have... and when I do it is usually to post a complaint! lol (not always...)
If I tried this for my pets, it would never be updated. Too many other things I need to do. lol

I can't stand accounts for pets.
I'm heavily involved in ferret rescue and community. 85% of the people are nuts. The average ferret owner has 8 ferrets. And these people make Facebook accounts for every single one of their ferrets. I often get user 'Frito Bandito Flower Ferret' or 'Leon Dook Dook weasel king' sending a friend request.

These people legitimately update the status for all of their animals from the ferret's point of view'.
"Jeep Ferret said: I woke up and slinked out of my hammock. Then I missed the litter box and took a crap. Mom is going to be angry."

And I cant say how many times I've seen a 10 page fanfiction of how some ferret flew up to the rainbow bridge and was met by bridge greeters.....etc etc....

Insane obsessed ferret owners...!

Yes. Not a fan for pets having their own social media account....
