    Need advice?
Hey there everyone. I have been thinking about getting a python lately alot, and just found one on craigslist.http://houston.craigslist.org/for/3593305759.html Can someone please check out that setup and tell me if it is adequate? Thanks! (:

No, not the way it sits. The hide appears to be for rodents and is transparent. It will not make the snake fell secure. You should also have two hides, one cool side and one warm side. The water bowl could be alittle larger because if the snake decides to soak it will overflow that one and flood the tank. Also the top not having some of the screen covered the setup will not hold enough humidity which will become a problem.

I would tell them you need to change some things to get it right and not everything for sale is needed to get a cheaper price. I think at the asking price he is charging retail for the setup.

I think I would only go to $80 unless some other things are not seen but included. Depending on your home temps you might still need a uth and tstat. Plus you need a temp and humidity gauge.
