    Weird head
So I recently took in some hogg island boas and the female has a huge head, as big as my 9ft python and she is maybe 5 foot. Her head is kinda wobbly. I have cared for over 150 snakes, so not new to snakes at all, but I am concerned the wobble is a sign of IBD; I know huge heads are usually due to large feeds compared to their body, but its a little weird. Thoughts?

Do you have any video? Without a vet diagnosis, anything posted on here is going to be a straight-up guess.

A little off topic, but wouldn't the result of large feeds be the reason for a small head? I don't know much about boas, but I know that any large female with a tiny heads means she was probably power fed to gain size.

I think what was meant was large meals not more frequent meals. A larger meal too big for the head could make it bigger I guess. I would say post some pics and if you can a video so we can see exactly what's going on here!!!

I've never heard of large meals making boa's heads larger......

A video or photo would help.

And a little tidbit to throw out: it's Hog Island (only one "g")
