Another ultrasound question thread.

Hey, I know this question has been asked before, but has never really gotten a good answer, so I will apologize in advance for asking it again.

Has anyone had any experience with the cheap ($1k-2k) ultrasound machines on ebay? All the threads that have asked this question get the reply don't do it or go and get this one here. But has anyone actually tried one and known for sure that you are getting what you pay for?

For the most part, I would rather not buy some unknown Chinese thing, but all the ones that everyone else is using are also Chinese, so I am just wondering what makes one Chinese ultrasound better than another? The Price hike? Somewhat of a name brand?

I am not trying to get flamed here, just wondering if anyone has actually tried one of these.
