I fed Jojo a pretty big rat this past sunday and he still looks really big. My feedings run every sunday. I was wondering since i fed Jojo such a large meal should i skip a meal this sunday? I dont want to over feed and get an obese snake.

Here is a pic of the rat that he ate.

It wouldn't hurt to skip a meal, but if you don't want an obese snake with these such large meals you should either lower the meal size or stretch out your meal times.

Yup...as Justin says...it won't hurt anything to skip a meal. If I were feeding rats that size to that snake, I would probably feed every two weeks.

Justin...dude...are you back??? :D What's the status of your TDY?

I had asked for a small rat but they were really busy and they gave me a medium one by mistake. I will skip this weeks feeding and see if he poops. He hasnt gone in like 4 weeks so thats 4 rats i am waiting for, ewwww.

Thanks for the help guys and gals.

I would say just wait until the noticeable lump goes away. And the snake won't mind at all, I'm sure it knows it has some more digesting to do. Just skip a week then get back on track with the size you had been feeding.
