How long should I wait before I hold a newly hatched crested gecko?

As with any reptile, it's pretty safe to say keep handling to a minimum for the first week or so.

Wait until they are eating well. Some are settled in within a week and some take a few weeks.

I usually give them a month so they can seattle in, get use to seeing me around and giving them there food dish with rephasy and mist them and so they will get use to me and eating and seattle in but I hold sparingly maybe 5 minutes every week or 3 just so they can ease in to the idea of being handled and to prevent tail drops
