Pics? Are you sure s/he isn't going into shed? They get 'pink belly' before they go 'into the blue' (clouded over eyes) and then shed a few days later.... Is it red like inflamed or irritated? Or pinkish cast to it, like in shedding?

    Welcome to the site!

We need some more information to help you out.

    1. What are you using to heat your cage?

    2. Do you have anything monitoring the temperatures in the cage?

    3. Do you have a thermostat?

    4. What type of cage/what size cage are you using?

    5. Can you post a picture of the cage and the snake's belly? This thread will show you how to post pictures:

Here are two really good threads that you should check out to make sure that you have everything set up correctly:

That isn't good. That looks like a burn, though it could also be scale rot. Either way a trip to the vet will be required. Answers to the questions I listed above will help us find what caused this.

That looks like a burn to me. Agree with Aaron, get us some info on husbandry so we can help prevent this happening again. Get that guy to a vet.

Wow all i can tell you is VET VET VET and get the belly heat regulated because it looks like a heating pad burn. Good Luck

Looks like a burn to me

1)Go to a vet IMMEDIATELY! They will prescribe antibiotic cream.
    2) get some betadine and clean the wound in the mean time
    3) change substrate to paper towel.
    4) check your husbandry and set up.

Is your heat pad hooked up to a thermostat? The thermostat is needed to regulate the heat source. Otherwise an unregulated pad can hit 115-130 degrees, which is enough to burn a snake.
