1. I been breeding cresties for 6 years no need to seperate them at all or cool I leave them at room temp all year round never ever had breeding issues. 2. when you say use calcium with D3 I assume it is what your dusting insects I do but I only feed insects like once or twice a year with calcium with D3 I feed Rephasy Diet gives them everything they need growth, color health calcium. No real need to check calcium reserves unless her eggs aren't developed I would just not stress her out and bother her. What is the weight of your girl? the male? what size enclosure you using?

To jackiechan, I held the male today to see if me holding him would stress him out to much. When i held him he wasn't that jumpy, at most I will only hold him for 5 minutes a day for the first week. Thanks! :)
the female is good to go the male should put some more weight at least 30 grams but I have had little males at 25 grams breed fine for me but I prefer the bit more weight. When you introduce them monitor them and see how they interact even if you have to sit in the dark and just listen to hear there sounds such as are they fighting and screaming then not a good sign but if there moving around and just going about that is good soon the mood will hit and hopefull your lay box is ready and in the cage with them and you'll get eggs eventually :)
