Too much humidity?

So I started out with my water bowl on the hot side of my enclosure and the humidity was constantly sky-high (like 80-90%), so I moved it over to the cold side and it dropped well below 40%. Currently I've got it somewhere in the middle (near the UTH pad but not directly on top of it) and it's usually between 60 and 70%...I know that's a little higher than the recommended 50-60%, but is it all right? If not, any suggestions? I don't want to risk infection etc... I'm using paper towel substrate and have all of the ventilation holes in my enclosure (plastic) uncovered. When it gets closer to 70 I open the door for a moment which brings it down to 50 or so, but obviously I'm not home all day to watch and do this. I'm not misting or anything, I don't have a heat lamp.

60-70 is fine. Just as long as there isn't any standing moisture or condensation on the walls, I wouldn't worry too much.

I keep my regular humidity around the same %.

I use the same setup. Near th UTH but not on top. Its fine

humidity can cause issues with lungs ect but usually only when coupled with low air flow. If your ventilation is good there should be no issues. It is that damp closed basement you want to avoid not humid day. I often smell the enclosures and decided based on that. Too much humidity and low air flow start to smell closed basementy good air flow it is just clean and substrate smelling.

Thanks! Yea it doesn't smell like much of anything and there's no condensation.
