Alright... I may sound crazy but...

Does anyone else's snake like music? I'm laughing my head off now because I just discovered this.

Because it's winter, Athena has been staying in her hide 24/7. However, I noticed that when I put on my music, she pops her head out and either comes out or just chills in front of her hide!

Someone please give me a logical explanation for this before I burst my gut laughing. :rofl:

Well snakes "hear" vibrations. Maybe they like the rhythm. Now you got me thinking about putting on some music for mine.

There was a study done that showed they could possibly hear a type of audible sou.d. Ill post it if I can find it

Yeah I read that too, that they have a type of 'internal ear' and can hear some range of sound, although not near the range of decibels that we can. It's the lower end of the spectrum of what we can hear.....

I'm no bad owner, but I took my bp to a high school band concert right after I got him and he didn't seem to mind. (it was right after the expo and he was still in the cup, inside my purse with a hand warmer tucked away in one of the pockets so it stayed slightly warm in there.)

I've heard that before, so I've been doing my own experiment with his feedings. I play the same song about a minute or so before I feed him and I'm curious to see if by playing that song he'll associate the vibrations with food!
