    Maybe a slightly weird idea?
    Looking for opinions here....

    My new T8s are all warmed up and set up...I decided to put one of those less then optimal half log "hides" in as mere decor....Orion has 2 fully black Reptile Basics hides appropriately placed...1 on cool side 1 on warm side.....

    Opinions on having a third "hide" in there kinda in between the hotter and cooler sides...I didn't place it in there specifically to act as a hide but more for decor and I like the woody/natural kind of feeling it adds.

    I personally avoid wood in anything's enclosures because of the chance of mold, the inability to truly sterilize, and the chance it can harbor mites. I'd stick to plastic myself.
