    Mites!
I have had my snakes for a few years now, and suddenly I have mites. I know
mites happen to the best of us, and that they can be quite a pain to get rid of.
Well, I got rid of them for about a month, or I thought I did, but they are back
with a vengeance! I have treated my enclosure with mite spray, No Pest strips,
and even bleach. I have also treated my snakes with mite spray, soaked them for
hours in plain bath water, bath water with a little bit of Dawn, bath water with
Betadine, and coated the snakes in mineral
oil for about 15 minutes and then washed them. I cannot get rid of the darn
mites this time! Do you have any suggestions or solutions that have worked for
    you?

The enclosure is a 8' x 8' x 4' custom wood enclosure with bamboo and
    indoor/outdoor carpeting.

sounds like you need to separate and quarantine them, throw away or launder that carpeting, and give your enclosure a good scrub down inside and out....

    Buy provent-a-mite.

Make sure you follow the directions exactly.

Repeat in 28 days or so.

    No more mites. :D

Sounds like you've tried all of the home remedies that don't work and you are ready to do it right.
Get some Provent a mite and treat them as directed.
If you need further help just ask, but do treat them properly, so you get the eggs too.

It sounds like you killed the live ones and had another batch of eggs hatch due to not using the right products or not spraying the surrounding area where the mites might lay eggs.
You should use paper towels for bedding until the mites are gone.
Lightly spray the paper towels down and let them dry, lightly spray the inside and outside of the tubs/enclosure/tank and let dry.
Spray the area as if you were treating for fleas, the flooring and the furniture around the rack/tanks.

Don't use home remedies that do not work like oils, soaps, reptile relief, and other products that are not necessary at all, and imo worthless.

Quarantine from what, the other snakes that probably have mites too?
There's no need to be so drastic ;)

Provent-a-mite works really well, alot like with fleas you just need to keep cleaning and treating until they are gone. I still treat with preventamite when I bring in new snakes.
