Locking up in the Water bowl
So really random question here, but this is my first season breeding. I have had two of my BPs on rotation (3 days on 3 days off). The first time they were together they locked up, which was my first attempt at breeding (yay!). Anyway, today I noticed that they had locked up again, but this time in the water bowl. Is this a problem? Has anyone else observed this before? Both of the snakes are virgins, and so I sometimes wonder if they are "confused" about what they are supposed to do! I am not worried about it, just curious. This breeding thing is fun!

Do humans not lock up in a hot tub?

I'm sure that's just where the ends met and should be fine. The will move if it's an issue for either of them.

I remove water bowls when pairing. They can make enough mess on their own. Also germs survive longer in water. Just a precaution but better safe than sorry. Plus I don't want to clean up poop soup.
