I managed to get through 10 episodes before my "I've had enough" meter red lined.

I have a pretty high tolerance for blood and gore. I mean, I made it through Elfen Lied ok. But this show's premise is just gross. The story was really unique so I pushed through. But everyone has a limit. Episode 10 was that for me. I'd really like to see the story played out but the grossness hit a new level.

I'll stick with blood and gore and gratuitous "thanks for the mammary" shots.

That happened to me with "Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt".

I mean, that show is like if FLCL had decided to go uber-raunchy. I loved the style, and I could handle all the sexual innuendos and puns (which is pretty much 90% of that show), but when I got to the episode where they were all PICKING THEIR NOSES because of a Booger-Ghost and then proceeded to FIGHT IT WITH THEIR OWN SNOT, I just couldn't watch it for fear I would barf. I just skipped to the finale.

EDIT: Looked up "Mysterious Girlfriend X". I felt kinda ill just reading the description. I kept thinking "OMG EWW, SERIOUSLY?!"

..Drool. That's it?

You should go read Franken Fran, that's like one of my favourite manga ever. (◕‿◕✿)

I'm reading this manga called "Sankarea", which is about zombies. It's a romance too, believe it or not.

It's a very interesting take on the "zombie" genre, which while it gets mildly gross (body parts torn off/out, not super detailed though) it's actually highly enjoyable.

Oh anime... What'll we be without ya...

Logically speaking, I shouldn't be. Maybe it's because I am desensitized to blood and gore at this point because I've seen so much of it. Also, what they are doing amounts to just indirect kissing. So that's how I persevered through most of 10 episodes. But there's just something about seeing it animated the way it is. Honestly there's nothing especially different in that episode I don't think. I think it's just because I marathoned it and my "Eww groos" meter just reached it's limit for the day.
