    Dyed Aspen... :-/
I just went up to a chain petshop near me to pick up some aspen bedding, and man had their prices gone up!
An 8qt bag of shredded aspen for $9.99!! That is crazy...frankly I just didn't wanna drive all the way to a TSE...
I know theirs is like a 12qt bag for around $4...

Anyways, I went ahead and grabbed a bag since I was already there...BUT I bought the green stuff. They had it
marked down on clearance for $2 a bag, so I figured I'd save myself a few bucks until I can get to a TSE.

Anyone else using this dyed aspen? It doesn't look too horrible, but I think I'll definitely get regular stuff next time.

I would think if it got wet it may bleed dye? But I'm not real worried because I use heavy ceramic water dishes...

Here is what I bought...and no this tub is not done lol, it's getting another hide and water dish tomorrow :)

To each his own, but I like the dyed aspen. I use the green stuff that you have pictured, and it looks great in my displays, with the plants, wood, and background. I've never had any problems with it. I wouldn't bother using it in a tub, but for display tanks it's a great choice.
