    Recent Mussurana Pics
As per request, I snapped some shots of my yearling mussuranas. The male just came out of shed, and the female was deep in shed. Just a couple shots. I'll get more up when I have time to edit some photos... busy writing several articles and finishing up a book on Candoia.

I own a mussurana but I don't know much about their genetics. Can you expect piebald babies breeding a piebald to a normal?

    Lovely pics, by the way!

From my understanding piebald is a co-dominant trait in mussurana. So yes, you can expect pied babies from a pied x normal pairing. Also let's see some pictures of your mussurana!

Good looking guy and a great name!

Thanks all for the compliments... I'll get more pics up soon. I just did a whole thorough cleaning on the 50+ tanks, so this coming week will be a photo shoot with a bunch of them.

Imtrej is spot-on. Piebald is codominant, so one pied adult will produce pied offspring. Pied x Pied will produce pieds, super pieds, and normals. Super pied x normal will produce all pieds.

Pardon the ignorant questions, but does that mean each egg has a 25% chance of being pied, with a pied x normal pairing?
