    Sperm plug scenting?
Alright so I'm not very good at popping anything other then a hatchling. I can however get sperm plugs from the two males I know are males just no hemipens. I have one girl I was questioning so I tried popping her and I'm pretty sure she is a girl. No sperm plug and seemed way easier and looked like scent glands. My plan is to throw that girl and another girl in with a lazy breeder I have with scented with a sperm plug from my other male. What does everyone think about this plan?

Have you tried throwing two males in with the female? Try using another males shed.

That has worked for me with young males and lazy breeders.

Actually in most cases it's not such a great idea with a shy male.

The dominant one will win the fight which can cause the other to even more reluctant to breed after being defeated.

It is best to use the shed and/or the sperm plug.

To the OP I would do 1.1 at this point and use shed and sperm plug (sperm plug being smeared on the lower back of the female).

Good luck and remember because you do not see a lock does not mean it doesn't happen.

Thks for pointing that out. I should of been more detailed in my post.

To the O.P. keep pairing some males just need a little more time to figure it out.

He was like this last year too....I am going to replace him this year with a a 2 or 3 gene male. His just a pin that was sold to me as being from a genetic banded line. I didn't pay more for him for it but choose him for that reason. Yet he doesn't like the girls much, I have got one lock out of him this year with the black pastel, without any tricks. Last year I got one visual lock using a shed from another male and she didn't take so was hoping he would do more this year but not yet lol. My pastel really scented his tub was going crazy tail wagging and he just ignored her like always lol.
