My BP (Thor)! New enclosure.
Thought I would introduce myself to the forum by sharing a video of my pastel ball python when I put him in his new enclosure. 36x24x18 Exo terra. Thor is a little over a year old.

Looks good, but make sure you put a hide on the cool side of the tank, also.

Sticky- thanks. Yeah, the forum seems like a cool resource.
Anna- good advice. He spends a lot of time over there so I'm sure it would be appreciated.

I used a Sterilite tub, Exo terra water fall some aquarium rocks and a few random pieces of plant decor to make my little lagoon. :)

I wanted the Lagoon to be recessed so it would be look more natural so I used the matted coconut fiber that you can buy at almost anyplace that has an attached plant nursery. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/06/17/2a3a4ege.jpg

In respects to a growing collection I absolutely agree. Me and the gf want to start breeding next year and we are going with all rack systems for our setups. This little one here though will remain in her elaborate little enclosure unless she gives me indication of stressed behavior. The way I put the tub in the enclosure it slides out easily and the coco fiber matting holds the recessed hole and keeps dirt from falling into where the tub sits. Ill take pics next time i change the water out. So basically all I do Is pull out the tub, rinse it out, fill it up, and drop it back in. Pretty easy :) it would still be impractical for any sizable collection though. Lol

Exactly haha. My boyfriend and I have 4 right now and will be adding 2 more before the end of the month. Potentially a 7th in about 3-4 months if our breeder hatches out a pied. By then we'll have a decent base collection to get up to size and start our hand at breeding in another season or two. We would absolutely love to do this for our collection, but it really isn't practical. We had a super fancy tank set up for our corn snake and it was a mother-:O to clean haha.

This is what the whole looks like with the water tub out.
