    Havabator Incubators
    Does anyone use them? How well do they work? Easy or hard to use? What ones do you recommend? :salute:

    I would not use one even if someone paid me to do so!

    The best is to make your own and of course if you do just like with any incubator you need to remember that the single most important piece of equipment is a RELIABLE thermostat.

    I agree with Deborah 100%. They are crap. You would do much better making one. You can spend about the same money and get much better quality.

    It really depends upon how many clutches you are going to hatch. With one or two, you can use an igloo type cooler. With three to five, a mini fridge. With six plus, a converted freezer. There are lots of plans on this site. If you can't find them with a search, PM me and I'll help.

    I just built one out of a 150qt coleman cooler. I've finally got it running right. I basically put some flex watt and a fan at the bottom and use a light diffusor to make "shelves". On each shelf are some water bottles. Mine holds 8 tubs if you stack them right...but I'll only need to use about 4 tubs.
