    HELP!!!! R.i URGENT
I bought my pastel male ball python exactly one week ago today, I fed him a Weener rat on Tuesday and he vomited it up on Thursday, now he appears to be star gazing and has like a frothing at his mouth, is this my fault or the place I got it I'm really really worried about him! HELP!

Well what are your temps? Do you hear whistling or popping when he breathes? If so I'd take him to a vet ASAP.

X2 I'd take him to a vet regardless of he's frothing at the mouth

    HELP!!!! R.i URGENT
Should he be having this problem after only a week in my care I've done everything I can to make sure he's setup right, how long does it take for the symptoms to show ie could it have had the problem prior to me purchasing him

If you have only had him a week I would say the problem lies with who you got the snake from.

That doesn't matter now, get to a vet ASAP.

Bump up your temps to 80-82 - 90-92.

Get a culture done at the vets so they can target the infection properly.

    Keep us updated. :-)

Could we get pics of the setup?? It may help find your problem faster. The problem was probly from where he came from but pics can't hurt. Definatly a vet ASAP, as mentioned by others.

Inform the shop you got the snake from. Then take the snake to the vet and bring the receipt to the pet shop and they will most likely pay for the vet bill.

It is good they are willing to help you.

It is entirely possible he had a very mild RI, they are hard to catch at first. Then the stress of the move made it explode. It happens quite a bit. The good news is, properly treated, he'll be good as new in no time!
