I've been bit!

....by the BCI Love Bug! Ohm'gosh....I was at PetCo today (the good one with good herps) and finally got to hold the two BCI's they have for sale. They're just little boogers...maybe 17"-18". Very clean patterns and gorgeous tails on both of them. And OH SO sweet!!! One of them just wanted to cuddle up into my hair and I so wanted to leave him there and walk out of the store!

I've always been impressed with the looks of a truly red BCC...but these little guys made me truly fall in love.

I love 'em! It seemed like such a weird thing when I first handled the one I have now. I kept expecting him to ball up like a BP, since that's all I ever kept in the "large snake" department. But instead of being terror-stricken at me, he slithered all around my hands and ended up stuck in my hair. Then he remained calm while I dislodged him. Whenever we handle him, he never wants to return to his cage. And he will eat anytime he's fed. :)

this is Ozzie, exactly...........i was surprised at how slick and smmoth he is compared to my bp, Sixx. they both love my hair, hard to keep them out.....todd usually had to help!!
i am warming up to Ozzie more, now. he is "outgoing"

You are so silly judy I was concerned about when I read the subject, lol. My husband has been bit by that bug as well. I don't want to hold one because I know I will be bitten as well. :D

me and my grandpa got to hold one (well two, one for me and one for him) also , the petco in lascruces usually has alot of reptiles, last time i went they had a pretty big ball but the red tail boas were all prety small. they are so cute and i would get one but im still not comfortable with a snake that gets that big.
