new macklottes pythons

hi all,
We finally got in our breeding pair of macklottes pythons.
They are both from a good source (not rescued) and the female is beleieved to be gravid. They are going on Monday for bloodwork etc, and we plan on getting the female xray'd to see if there is anything in there. I'll keep you guys updated.

these two are extremely heavy! I am literally amazed at how big they are. I'll post pictures trying to display there girth asap.

Should I be scared or excited, they are beautiful snakes. I love to more about these creatures that I used to be so scared of. I told my husband we would never have a snake and now we have 2 and looking to see what else we want.
