    Venomous Training Expo in MD!
    I don't know if any of you have heard of this, but if you're in Maryland it's definitely something worth checking out!

    Plus the infamous Viperkeeper is one of the speakers, and a few of his animals will be on display there as well.


    I was soooo happy to hear this is in Maryland, I'm gonna do my damndest to get to it!!

    sweet I wantot see if the wife will liketo go. I know we agreed no vemonous snakes for pets but i removed a few so any special training I can possible get would help.

    I mean I don't plan on having venomous snakes for pets either, but since I want to be a vet any experience with reptiles is a great opportunity for me, I think. It also would be nice to have experience in the offchance that I become like a zoo vet or something like that, because I'm sure they'd have at least a few venomous animals at places like that.

    Plus I'm sure a lot of the techniques can still be applied to non-venomous snakes as well. :)

    I agree - this is a wonderful opportunity to learn and I also think some techniques could be applied to non-venomous. I love opportunities like this to broaden my experience and learn and grow. Wish I could go................ :tears:

    lol I wonder if i could get a couple of the firehouse guys to go since i no longer living in the response area so they can ID snakes a lot easer lol.. I post a remark to the president about it lol. i know i caught copperheads, and a single rattlesnake( came back ona truck as a hitchhiker ( years ago)
