Damn mouse

This issue is so funny. I have a mouse thats too fast and smart for my python. He has been teasing him for 3 hours now. I can't stop laughing every time he dodges a close call but then I realised...What to do? Any advice on this silly matter? Maybe its a silly question but its a real issue

I would kill it, and try offering it that way.

He doesn't feed on dead mise. I tried before

If your snake does not eat within 15 minutes then your snake is not hungry and the prey should be removed. You at not doing your snake any favor by leaving the prey in his enclosure for 3 hours, the strikes you are witnessing are defensive strikes.

You are only stressing him.

Something that might work (we used to do this for training dogs to flush quail) if you really don't want to stun it, is to put it in a bag, spin the bag around quickly enough to get the mouse dizzy/disoriented, then quickly put him back in the cage. It works well enough on quail to stop them wandering off, so fingers crossed it will disorient a mouse enough to let your guy grab it. Just a thought.

I have a little plastic tub that i keep live mice in for a few days until trying again if my BPs dont eat em the first go around...i give them some water, bedding, and shredded papertowels..and some mice food until my bp eats em!

Survival of the fittest man. That mouse deserves to be kept as a pet! Haha

Ose tongs to hold it's tail so it's not running around. Like keep it on the floor of the enclosure, but hold it still that way.
