I took Norbert to the vet today so I took advantage of having him out of his tank and took a few quick shots. Plus I found out how to use the Macro function on my digi cam, so I can take close ups now.

Here's Norbert pre-vet visit. Poor guy doesn't know what he's in for.

The vet visit freaked him out, he was still all balled up when I got him home, poor guy.

Beautiful snake you got there. Hope that the vet visit went well.

    How big is he now?

He is so beautiful! And the poor little thing looks SO trusting in the first picture...and then you can almost see him trembling in the second! It's too bad that a trip to the vet doesn't somehow convey to them how much we love 'em!

Very true! I've felt bad about it all day, but he seems okay now. He's moving around his enclosure and everything like he usually does at night. I was hoping to start handling him this week, but I think I'd better lay off and give him a break.

And thanks for the compliments, guys. Wolfman, he weighs 207 grams, I'm not sure on length. I'd guess he's about 20 inches long, but that's just a guess.

    Gen,

Norbert is REALLY a very good looking BP. I really like his patterns and how vivid his colors are.

    Did he just shed?
