I got some real nice light/white rocks from one of my homeowners who was doing his yard. They are the type you buy by the bag at the garden center.
He had put them down around his bushes and said I could take a few for my cage.
Question is how should I go about cleaning up and making sure they are safe to put in my bp's cage. I already soaked and scrub in hot water and anti-bacterial soap. Should I now "cook" in the oven? and if yes how long and what temp?
    Thanks

Hey Jotay if you wanna clean them put them in a 5% bleech to water mixture and leave to air dry make sure you rinse them thoughy after bleeching though. Have fun.

I was asked what I want for Mothers Day..and,
Boil them for twenty minutes and you should be good to go. Ya, cooking them can make them explode......cave man grenades!

LOL...That would definitely NOT be cool. That would give "pop rocks" a whole new meaning!!

I think you would do well to either boil them, or soak them in the bleach solution. I would use 1 part bleach to 10 parts water.
