I have 2 burms with attitude, they are young one is a year old and the other 8 months, both feisty and bitey. I am working hook training, but they still get bitey any suggestions?

Hook train and handle them. If they bite dont immediately let them go or put them away.

Best thing is to keep up what your doing. Just handle them! They just need to learn that you are nothing to fear. Young ones CAN be bitey but burms usually grow out of it pretty quickly.

I concur. You just need to keep handling them. Burms tend to calm down with handling and age/size. Are these captive bred snakes? It does make a difference.
Usually once a burm gets truly large, if you handle them, they rarely bite. I don't give them much credit for being smart, but once they lose their fear of you and they realize that you are not food, they usually do not bite.
I can't even tell you the last time that I was bit by a burm over 10 feet long.

Re: Taming burms
Yeah they are young, but have been flighty and bitey, so I'll try working on them and see how it goes
