    i decided to try something. rex hasnt ate since the vet, so everytime i tryed he rejected it. well, since i hear alot that they explore there cage alot when their hungry, and hes out exploring, im gonna try it. wish me luck.

    YESSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he ate!!!!! im so happy!!!!!! but i thnk i need something bigger than these rat pups. he ate it faster then usual and the rat pup is only about 1/2-2/3 the size of rexs girth...any food suggestions. hes alredy on rats wuts the next size rat?

    if probly helps, but his largest girth is around the size of a 50cent piece

    sounds to be the size of sirius when we started him on sm rats. about 4-5"in nose to butt and 2"in wide.

    ok, i measured the 50 cent piece, or at least wut i thnk is a 50 cent piece...its about 1 inch. should i just keep him on the rat pups or look for something bigger...if i should keep him on the rat pups, should i feed him every 4 or 5 days? i dont want to try multiple feeds, but these rat pups look a little small, but his girth isnt really that big eithr.

    You're not going to hurt anything by tossing in another pup to see if he takes it. If he does...great! You'll have a better idea of how much food he can take in one feeding. If he doesn't, then maybe you'll be more assured that he's content with that size prey for a little while longer.
