The Art of Keeping Snakes speaks at length about eco system enclosures. The principals will be similar it would be a start. It is by Phillip De Vosji (sp?)

No problem, I don't know of any other books but there is a forum too, http://www.vivariumforum.com/community/index.php I hope I am not violating any usage rule for this but it was suggested by a friend whom runs living systems.
