No male mice?

My ball python will not touch any male mice, but as soon i offer female mice he eats them right away. Anybody have an explanation?.

Are we speaking of over a long term, as in 20-30 feedings or more, or just something you happened to notice in 2 or 3 feedings.

I've never seen a ball get hooked on one sex of rodent :rolleye2:

He refused food for 5 weeks and since then will only eat female mice. Has been two months now where he will only strike at female mice.

He must just have something against girls lol, he doesn't want to hurt the boys.
