    My First Snake
After a few months of searching around, i found one i was ready to bring home. found him in a local store that has a large selection of snakes and reptiles in our area. Im told he is a Pastel 100% Het Ghost mix. Heres a pic of him, ive yet to come up with a name but for some reason i like Wally.

A friend of my wife is helping me with the correct setup and ensuring i do everything right, and is going to show me how to feed him correctly.

Thank you for your compliments. Ive read through the care sheets, and improved his lair. Here are two pics of my setup for Wally. I just switched to using a red light for heat from a white light. I also on the right side have a undertank heating pad. I've given him two hides, while not identical he seems to transit back and forth between the two throughout the day. Using Reptibark as substrate. Added some fake plants in as well to give him some more cover and just an overall appeasing look to his home. If anyone noticed any way i can improve his home, any advice would gladly be taken.

Wally seems quite active, and ate this past saturday no problem for the first time since bringing him home.

Do you have a thermostat for your under tank heating pad?

I don't see any thermometers/hygrometers how are you measuring cage temperatures/humidity?

The hides that you have are way too big for a snake that small. Hides need to fit tightly like so:
