Sneaky Pied

So this is my second year breeding this male pied and I have yet to catch him locking with any ladies. I did hatch some babies from him last year but never saw a visual lock.

Finally, caught him the act today. Sneaky son of gun was hitting it under the paper. :)

PS - Bred him to the same albino last year and hit 3.0 Albinos and 1.1 DH Albino Pied (I hope). So I am trying to prove out whether he is also het Albino or it was a situation with retained sperm from 2011.

Was he a PH albino? or a mystery het?

Whatever the case may be, I wish you luck!

Mystery het but I am really leaning on sperm retention as the true cause to the resulting offspring. Time will tell.

Lol! I hope my guys just been sneaking it in too. My pied doesnt seem to want to lock. Hes 750g and 14 months old producing sperm and everything but every time I go in and check to see how hes doing he is always curled up next to the lady.

Thanks, he probably is getting him some just a few quickies. I always thought mine was just pulling out once he heard me coming to check on them. LOL
