    Animal Plastics lead time.
So I recently ordered a new rack and a T10 from animal plastics and the email I received said there was up to a 8 week lead time. I'm fine with this I am just curious if anyone has ever received some thing from them quicker than expected? I am just really excited to get my new equipment that's all, plus I'm not the most patient guy in the world. Thanks.

Their "quickship" items will typically ship within 2 weeks...my t8 was at my door less then 3 weeks from placing the order. I ordered a t10 toward the end of November and I'm not expecting it for at least 2 more weeks.

When I ordered my T12 they quoted me 6 weeks and I got it in 5 weeks. It's possible to get it early but I've also got a cage 2 weeks after their quoated date. (They kept in contact the entire time and fully explained the nature of the delay.

It's hard to wait that long!

i ordered one the first week in dec and i am still waiting. i called to pay it off and they said we are still looking at the end of january. so they seem right on time. i was going to email them tomorrow and just double check if they started cutting mine because i may want to add another light to it.

Just ordered 2 t8s with ONLY the quickship options.....so far 2+weeks since order and Ali the order lady emailed me saying there is a further delay until next week before my order ships....she originally told me they had a 10 week lag time that they have managed to get down to an 8 week lag just recently.

I hear they make great products...but damn they need to hire more ppl/supplies to deal with this insane lag time.

I'm pretty sure they also contract some of the stuff out. I know one set of cages I ordered ended up having to wait on the shop that does the glass for them. I work in a sheet metal shop and both my place and the other shops we contract things out to have a bad habit of estimating on the low side as far as how long something will actually take to get done.

I ordered a rack from them last year that took 12 weeks. They had some type of production problem but kept me updated on progress. I was a little disappointed it took so long but their customer service made up for it.
