    Broken car window
Not very happy atm. Got out of Applebee's tonight and my back driver's side window had been busted. There was glass everywhere!!!! Called the cops and they took a report. Thankfully nothing stolen. This has just thrown me for a loop. :(:tears:

Sorry to hear  I've had my aftermarket antenna smacked off and had the back of my car silly-stringed before: you should have heard me cussing. Can't imagine how I'd be if I had a window broken....

Finally have the day off tomorrow to deal with insurance and hopefully get the window fixed but have had a stress migraine since. Don't like that I can hear everything outside while driving and have to turn the heater on full blast to heat my car. I also had to but a black trash bag on my window and it looks crappy. Hopefully things run smooth during the fix and insurance part of all of this.

Hopefully insurance will pay for it. Broke the passengers window on my Monte Carlo before we got rid of it. Took $300 for Safelite to come out and put a new on in it.

That happened to me a decade ago, late night at a movie. 20 year old car, cassette player, nothing in the car to steal. Smashed in passenger front window, and a confused look on my face. The worst part was how the cops were insinuating that our call to report it was a waste of their time, I rarely have been more infuriated in my life.

There is just no real sense in it, good luck getting the window fixed.

Just a warning because it has happened to me. Just because they did not "take" anything does not mean they did not get anything. Had an old pay check stub left in my glove box and we thing they coppied down info from it but left it there so I would not get worried. They managed to get a check book on my account and add credit card to my name. Keep a close watch on your accounts for a few months you might have more problems than a busted window. Dont want to be the neg. one but I have been there and done that.
