"lost cause" pet store rescue update. First feeding.
I bought his mouse today due to the pet store not being open tomorrow, his feeding day was tomorrow. His tank is in my living room since it stays the warmest and it seemed like as soon as I brought the mouse into the room he was awake and out of his hide. So I figured that as anxious as he seemed with this being his first meal in his new home, maybe his last meal hadn't been when she told me it was. So I decided I'd offer it to him today. I either have a very good eater or a very hungry snake.. As soon as he seen the mouse he struck the glass before I got his lid off and had struck and wrapped it before I removed my hand from the tank after dropping it in. He ate it with no problem and is now contently lounging on his hide in his basking light. A pretty good job for a snake I was told was a lost cause.

Very nice! I'm glad to hear that he ate for you. For me waiting on new additions to eat is a very stressful time!

I thought for sure he was going to be a problem eater, but he seems to be proving all of my doubts for him wrong. I'm glad he's doing so well.
