Feeding the yearling Purple - agression
The other day, I set up my camera, grabbed some rats, and decided to make a video of the purple retic feeding. She's usually a boring video, so I didn't expect much, but lately she's been picking up her game. Well, low and behold, this instance she decided to let her true monster side show through. It was a fun time and of course after she fed she was back to being her sweet self. I dodged some strikes, laughed at her trying to get me, and gave her a giant Medium Rat as her meal. She's some where between 4-5' and right around a year old if I'm not mistaken. She's a high% Dwarf Purple Ablino Reticulated Python. Enjoy, don't get bit by the retic bug

Re: Feeding the yearling Purple - agression
I might have you confused with someone else bought I thought you said you don't use a hook at feeding time as not to assosiate the hook with feeding for handling purposes. Also that is pretty laid back for a retic feeding response compared to what I had imagined. I have several balls that make that look like a kitten nursing lol. Not to mention the feed response of the adult carpet girl I picked up a couple weeks ago.
