    Another Newbie question
Ok i saw this carpet python that was colored briliantly. It was striped bright yellow on black. I have seen other carpet pythons and they are brown in color. Do they assume this bold coloring when they are adults. I want to know if i buy a brown one will it grow up to be this black and yellow color?

Those are the ones commonly found in pet stores but no you'd have to buy a Jungle Carpet to get the yellow and black pattern. Thats what your looking for hope you enjoy the pics.

And keep in mind that first specimen (the Jungle carpet python) pictured is a very BRILLIANTLY colored specimen. A lot of jungle carpets look similiar to the other carpet species in color, or at least duller than the snake shown above. People are going to ask top dollar for specimens that brilliant. Good luck on your search. :)

Right thanks for adding that Jen I almost forgot. Not to mention carpets as a whole are typically nippy as babies so it'll take some handling to calm them down. But don't let that discurrage you they're beautiful snakes and well worth it. :)

So the top picture is the one you want but they can run pricey so make sure your getting your money worth outta the deal cause you don't wanna be paying top dollar for one thats a dull Yellow.

No man this one is BRIGHT yellow. Just like the picture. I am going after work today to check it out. At www.bobclark.com they sell them for $125 its not to bad and i think bob clark is a reputable dealer plus from what i have heard these snakes tend to be ver irradecent (not sure of the spelling) and they are semi arborial. I always wanted a green tree python but i dont want to pay that much LOL. And I hope i can convice my wife to let me get another snake.

Bob Clark is one of the best and hes more than fair in his dealings if you ask me. I've only ever heard good things about him. Also I agree hes got a vast aray of beautiful Pythons. Carpets are Semi-Arboreal just to inform you that you are correct. So make sure you put in some High hides and such.
