    Heartbroken :(
My bumblebee, Rio, all of the sudden overnight developed a bad wobble. Ever since I got him he barely had a wobble, just a tiny head shake like he's shivering. A couple nights ago he was doing full spirals and trying to slither around upside down which I had never seen him do before. It's heartbreaking to watch. I guess the good news is that he only does this when he's in his cage. It's almost as if he's completely fine when he's out of his cage...he's never liked being in his cage though. He prefers to come out lol I still love him to pieces though.

Wobble happens. I have a spider that seems perfectly normal until I offer him food. Then the corkscrew begins. He still eats fine, and I still love him.

Yeah, I knew that it could possibly get worse. It's just hard to watch :( and then i take him out and he's perfectly fine.

I've got a wobbly corkscrew of a Spider Mojave named TWEAK. Got him at a steal of a price because of it and I don't regret it. Don't let it get you down as long as RIO is still eating and his attitude hasn't changed. I've also got a young spider who(crosses fingers) has in 3 months not shown a single wobble, corkscrew, or stargaze. Maybe he'll stay that way, maybe he wont. Either way I love him to death because he is my first morph.

    Why would you be heartbroken?

All spiders wobble, the degree of wobble often changes over time. I have a spider whom seems to wobble less than he did when he arrived and I expect that it will become worse someday. It is part of the spider gene I know many whom refuse to buy spider combos due to it. It is something you should be prepared for, yes it is sad when it changes but I do hope it wasn't unexpected?

I'm sorry but you shouldn't feel heart broken. As far as we know he isn't in pain and is just doing normal everyday things. To him wobbling is normal and every other ball is weird. It's just a spider thing. Personally I think its cute. Lol.

I'm literally watching mine do it in his tank right now. He tends to do it when he wants to be taken out of his tank. He eats perfect and seems perfectly happy. Next to my pinstripe (who comes out of his tank directly onto my hand), he's the nicest most calm snake I have. You shouldn't have anything to worry about.
