Now a bill that is defeated by a vote is something to discuss. However when the overwhelming number of bills naturally die, is that something worth runnning your yap about?
Many of these dead bill just get reintroduced the folllowing session. Remember this when someone tries to celebrate the expiration of a proposed bill.
Skip- just want to make sure I got this right. We didn't defeat the ban they just post poned the bill, in which case they can just try again next year. If that is the case once again we have not won/defeated anything:(

The bill expired. Any bills that were not passed by the end of the term just expire.
They can be reintroduced next session.

Should have read 19 months in to the 112th congress. The session ran from January 3, 2011 to January 3, 2013.
