40 gallon breeder conversion?

So right how my possible het albino female is in a tank. Temps and humidity stay perfect and since she's my first snake she will live out her life in a tank/enclosure. She is currently in a 40 gallon breeder, which I want to change from a top open screen to a front open plexi glass. Since i was to be able to move her tabk to a different area and plan to stack another tabk on top of it(a pvc cage i plan to get for my gtp).I have seen a few of these conversions but have not seen any for tanks bigger than 20 gallon longs. So before I start this little project. I was wondering has anyone done a 40 gallon breeder conversion? How did it hold up? What thickness plexi glass did you use?
Was there a certain silicone you used that you felt had a better hold while using a a thicker plexi glass?
