    Ive had him for about 9 months. He had RI and scale rot when i got him. Thats actually why i got him. I couldnt just leave him in that crappy pet store. His skin was all wrinkly and loose and pieces of shed all over. Glad i got him out of there and he is doing great with me.

    Love the rescue aspect of the story! I saw a red tail boa yesterday in a pet store with a weird "kink" in his neck (looked like a bone protruding). I wanted to take him home but chickened out given that I'm a newbie snake guy. I have a couple dogs I nursed to health after finding them on the streets...getting a diseased and neglected animal healthy is a great feeling. Kudos!
