    1 meal vs several
I was wondering what is better for a BP, feeding him 1 appropriate sized prey item or several small prey items? Ive personally never fed my BP 2 meals the same day but the pet store i get my rats from has a BP about the same size as mine and they feed him 2 or 3 small mice. Just curious as to why somebody would feed that way and is there any negative affects with digestion?

Some BP's won't eat larger rodents, so some people are forced to.

It is more cost effective and easier to just feed a single appropriately sized rodent and that is what I would recommend as long as the snake will eat the larger rodents.

Its not a "snake" thing, its a human thing;)
I have several snakes over 1000g that are mousers.
They get between 3 and 5 every Saturday.

I feed my large female that's over 3000 grams 2 rats at least 150 grams each. I feed live so its safer to feed 2 smaller rats.

But is there a difference other than safety? I feed fresh killed so my snake is safe anyway.
