I know the only real way to know the sex of a BP for sure is probing, but I was wondering.
my new BP is smaller/younger than our other one, but his spurs are quite a bit bigger. I read a few times that males have larger spurs than females.
is that generaly true and would be a possable assumption I have one male and one female?

well I mean you could assume that but lots of us have done the same thing only to have to think of a new name once it was probed haha. But if you aren't planning on breeding I guess it's not imparative that you know for sure. Hope this helps :)

Generally its true that males have larger spurs. However, there is always the exception. Probing is the only sure way to tell.

Males have spurs that are curved inward most of the time but i have seen males and females like this. The only true way is to probe but have a professional do it. Injury can result if someone new does it. I took it to my local herp shop and they did it for free.
