Is he too young to brumate?
Well my bearded dragon is just almost a year old now, he was born in mid January of last year. I've read a care sheet online from beardeddragon.org about brumation and they say it is extremely rare for a bearded to brumate during their first winter, BUT everything he has been doing lately points directly to brumation. He's laying on the cool side of his tank all day, very lazy, and hasn't eaten for about two days now. All of his lighting and temps are perfect, so, am I just a worried beardie owner who is a rookie when it comes to brumation?
