    New bp, popping issues
We took in a rescue ball python today. She wasn't taken care of at her old place so we took her. :) She appears to be a normal. She's around 2 feet long and I'm not sure how old, but definitely looks popp-able. When I popped her, I got red stubs, but they didn't extend far at all--they looked like scent glands maybe? Will try to take a photo later....but if I couldn't get them to "pop" out like penes, only expose a teeny little red part, is it likely she's female?

If you aren't certain about what you are doing please for the sake of your animal don't do it. She sounds female but if you are popping improperly you could be causing damage.

...I've been popping properly for 2 years now, but I always second guess my females because it's hard to tell. Thanks anyway.
