Hygrometer suggestions? Something smaller than what Flavor Flav wears around his neck
Hi everyone. I currently have one of those Acurite in-out hydrometers. Can somebody recommend a smaller digital alternative to the Flavor Flav model? Thanx, xoxo

Hello! I was actually looking at the Flukers digital hygrometer, myself. Not sure tho. Good luck! ;)

Acurite lol, it's one they sell at Walmart, also gives indoor/outdoor temps with a probe!! It's awesome for reptile enclosures, but some say its not to accurate...so maybe any other suggestions???

Sorry, maybe I wasn't clear. Smaller than the Acurite. Reasonably accurate, as well. :)

    My suggestion is this one.
    http://www.amazon.com/Cheaphumidors-...meter+analogue

They are robust and stand up to dirt and junk well. I calibrate mine every 6 months or so using a simple salt test. The 11 or so I own all sit at 1-2% rh of correct, the best digital I own is 5-7% and the worst I have ever owned (accurite) was 17% off and became worse in my tests with it. I also had a battery haemorrhage battery 'juice' as well during the same test. I would not suggest batteries inside an enclosure or bother with the accurite they are about the same as every other on the market for more money and a huge form factor.

I have not had much luck with the digital acurite t/h gauge..it seemed to be all over the place. I had a good chuckle out of the flavor flav comment.
